Trudi is a Speech and Language Therapist and Team Lead at The London Children’s Practice. Trudi completed her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours in Australia and her Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy at City University London.
Before qualifying as a speech and language therapist, Trudi gained experience in applied behaviour analysis and has completed formal training in this field at Queen’s University Belfast. Currently, Trudi works primarily with children in mainstream primary schools.
Trudi has experience working with children and young people aged 1 to 18 providing assessment and intervention, both face to face and online, in a range of clinical areas including speech sound delay/disorder, language delay/disorder, phonological awareness, ASD, social communication skills, emotional literacy and regulation, stammering and selective mutism. Trudi has a special interest in speech sound development and social communication, and using evidence-based behavioural approaches to therapy. Trudi is trained in the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, Core Vocabulary intervention, PROMPT Level 1, Palin PCI stammering intervention, Makaton and PECS. She has also attended introductory training in SCERTS.
Trudi is a certified member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
