Sophie is an Occupational Therapist at the London Children’s Practice. She obtained a Bachelor of Science with Occupational Therapy Honours from Curtin University in Western Australia. Currently, Sophie works with early years, primary and secondary school students.
Sophie has worked in varied paediatric settings, within private practice, schools and homes. She has background working with various diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyspraxia (DCD), Global Developmental Delay and Dysgraphia. Sophie is skilled in the assessment of functional skills, as well as psychosocial, sensory, executive functioning and emotional needs. She is interested in sensory regulation and sensory-based interventions, such as Zones of Regulation and the Alert Program. Sophie enjoys working with children with various backgrounds and diagnoses, and is passionate about building therapeutic relationships to forge best treatment outcomes.
Sophie is a registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK, as well as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Outside of work Sophie loves to paint, visit the beach and spend time in the garden.
