Speech and Language Therapist

Charmaine graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, with a BCommunication Pathology degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She previously worked as a hospital-based Speech and Language Therapist providing speech therapy services to neonates, paediatrics, and adults. She is excited to use and expand her skills in the private and education sector. Through her work experience she has gained interpersonal and clinical skills related to the assessment and management of speech and language difficulties, communication difficulties and feeding difficulties due to neurological disorders or fallouts. Charmaine has received training in Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication. She wants to specialise in dysphagia and get certifications to improve her clinical skills in early childhood intervention. Charmaine is registered with the Health and Care Profession Council.
