Trudi Bailey

Speech and Language Therapist

Trudi is a speech and language therapist at The London Children’s Practice. Trudi obtained her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours in Australia and her Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy at City University London. Before qualifying as a speech and language therapist, Trudi worked for 12 years as an ABA early intervention therapist and has recently completed formal training in this field at Queen’s University Belfast. Currently, Trudi works primarily with children in mainstream primary schools. Trudi has experience working with children aged 1 to 18 providing assessment and intervention in a range of clinical areas including speech sound delay/disorder, language delay/disorder, social communication skills, stammering and selective mutism. Trudi has a special interest in speech sound delay and disorder, and using evidence-based behavioural approaches to therapy. Trudi is trained in the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, PROMPT Level 1, Palin PCI for Primary School Children, and Makaton. Trudi is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, and is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
