Tara Cheetham

Speech and Language Therapist

Tara graduated from University College London with a distinction in Speech and Language Sciences in 2020.

Tara has experience working with children in mainstream primary provisions and special schools for primary and secondary school aged children. Tara also works with early years children up to the age of five with complex needs such as down syndrome, genetic disorders and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Tara has also worked with adults who have expeirenced stroke and Traumatic Brain injury.

Tara is passionate about working with children with special needs and is currently developing a specialism in complex needs and Alternative and Augmentative Communication. Tara is looking to become dysphagia trained in order to work with children who have swallowing and feeding difficulties.

In her spare time Tara enjoys exploring the outdoors and playing hockey.
