Dyspraxia Assessments

Dyspraxia Assessment

Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (DCD), previously referred to as Dyspraxia is a condition affecting physical co-ordination, impacting on a child’s day to day activities.  Diagnosis is made with two separate assessments, the first is an Occupational Therapy assessment, this assessment identifies the presence of DCD and offers strategies and recommendations. If DCD is identified than a second appointment is needed with a Neuro-Developmental Paediatrician who will confirm the diagnosis.
