Dyslexia Assessments (age 7yo-11yo)
Pola is a London based Dyslexia Specialist Teacher and Assessor who has taught in a variety of educational settings, both in England and abroad. Pola has worked as Head of Inclusion at a preparatory school for over 12 years where her responsibilities involved supporting pupils who have learning difficulties as well as those who are new to English. Pola’s job has allowed her to gain extensive expertise in working with children with a range of learning needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as those with mild hearing and visual impairment.
Pola is a registered member of The Professional Association for Teachers and Assessors of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD).
Customarily, the assessment takes place in the clinic, however, in some cases, other settings such as the child’s home or school may be considered.
The assessment takes 2.5 – 3.5 hours.
