NEW: Autistic Spectrum Condition Diagnostic Service (5yo to 18yo)

At LCP we assess for Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). Every assessment is compliant with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines and follows the stringent criteria set out in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual: 5th Edition (DSM-5) to ensure a robust diagnosis. All the LCP neurodiversity assessors have multiple years of experience in assessing complex children and young people. Our assessors are Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists trained and skilled in recognised, standardised assessment tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R). Following the conclusion, the assessors will provide a detailed personalised report, which highlights the young person’s areas of strength and areas of need and will confirm the given diagnosis/diagnoses

 

This service is headed by Georgia Campbell, Consultant Speech and Language Therapist. She has more than 15 years expertise in providing assessment and therapy to autistic children and young people. She has headed the Autism Diagnostic Clinic at LCP for 5+ years and is a regular speaker at the Autism Today conference.
