Rafaela Skoumpourdi

Assistant Occupational Therapy assistant

Rafaela is a fully qualified Occupational Therapist from the University of West Attica in Athens Greece, awaiting full HCPC Registration. During her studies Rafaela gained experience from a variety of settings including special schools and rehabilitation centers. 

Rafaela has also completed her Masters degree in Special Educational Needs at University of East London, aiming to enhance her professional skills and knowledge about UK’s educational system, its policies and its applications to SEN children and young people. She currently works with children in a variety of school settings across London and is familiar with a range of needs such as ASC, cerebral palsy, developmental delay and ADHD. 

As for Rafaela learning is a never-ending story, she is also planning to specialize in Sensory Integration, as she has a special interest in this field. She is passionate about working with young children and assist them reach their maximum potential. 

Rafaela also speaks Greek and German, while in her free time she enjoys traveling, painting on canvas and exploring cycling routes with her friends.
