Phumudzo is a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at the London Children’s Practice while awaiting for her HCPC registration. Phumudzo obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Therapy at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 2018.
Phumudzo has had experience working in both the hospital setting with adults and children as well as in the school setting. She has a passion for helping others communicate their needs and wants to the best of their ability.
She has had experience in providing assessment and intervention for children from various backgrounds with a variety of speech and language difficulties.
Phumudzo is trained up to level 2 of Makaton sign language and has attended the Neurodevelopmental Supportive Care Introduction course.
She enjoys reading and baking in her spare time. Phumudzo is in the process of completing her HCPC application to become a registered as a SLT.
