Orla Morrison

Director of Occupational Therapy Services & Occupational Therapist

Orla Morrison is the Director of Occupational Therapy and a  Specialist Occupational Therapist with The London Children’s Practice. Orla qualified with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of East Anglia in 2014. Orla now has 9 years of experience working in Paediatric Occupational Therapy. 

Since qualifying, Orla has worked extensively with children and adults with varying conditions both within the areas of additional learning, neurodevelopmental, and physical needs, e.g., ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Dyspraxia etc. and has specialised within the area of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). 

Orla has experience working with a range of complex needs and she is also trained in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observations Scale (ADOS-2) and the adapted ADI-R assessment for assessing of Autism, with up to 7 years of experience in administration of diagnostic assessments to support diagnosis of Autism both within the HSE (Ireland’s healthcare system), NHS, and Private Healthcare settings. She continues this work within the London Children’s Practice as the lead of the Autism Diagnostic Clinic. 

Orla has completed additional training within the areas of Sensory Integration (Module 1) and Occupational Performance Coaching. Additionally, Orla is safeguarding trained within LCP. She continues to attend in house training to continue to develop her clinical skills and professional learning.
