Occupational Therapist, Team Lead

Liz is an Occupational Therapist, team lead and Staff Satisfaction lead at the London Children’s Practice. Liz obtained a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Sydney in Australia. Currently, Liz works with early year, primary and high school students, predominantly in SEN schools.

Liz has experience working with a varied paediatric caseload within a mainstream and Special Educational Needs setting as well as a background of community-based practice working with both children and adults with a broad range of diagnoses and inpatient rehabilitation for children with complex needs. Liz enjoys working with children with complex needs, has an interest in challenging behaviour and adaptive equipment prescription as well as working as part of multidisciplinary team to support clients’ needs and goals.
Liz is a registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK as well as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Liz has is also a Mental Health First Aider.
Outside of work Liz’s interests include travel, attending music gigs and festivals and visiting art galleries.
