Katie is a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist at The London Children’s Practice. She obtained her degree in Speech Pathology at La Trobe University in Australia and has been working in paediatrics for the past 15 years. Katie provides speech, language, social communication, stammering and literacy assessments as well as EHCP reviews and medico-legal assessments. Katie is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead at London Children’s Practice.
Katie has experience with assessment, therapy and training within the UK and abroad. She specialises in working with children and young people with speech and language disorders, stammering and other special educational needs, including Autism.
Katie has additional training in SCERTS, Attention Autism, the Talk About Program, the Lidcombe Program, the Camperdown Program, Core Vocabulary, and the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk Program. Katie is a registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is also a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
