Meet
Hannah Longstaff-Mendoza

Clinic Manager, Speech and Language Therapist

Hannah is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, graduating from City University, London in 2017. She is also a team lead, supervisor, and school manager within LCP.

Hannah has experience working with a diverse client group (assessment and intervention) from working with pre-school children through to adolescents and young adults. Hannah has extensive experience of working with a variety of speech, language, and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental language disorder (DLD), developmental verbal dyspraxia (DVD), stammering, selective mutism, Angelman Syndrome, cleft-palate, and working with children and adolescents with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Hannah has provided SLT assessment and intervention both in the UK and internationally. Hannah currently works in primary and secondary schools in London, as well as having a varied clinical caseload.

Hannah has formal training in Level 1 PROMPT, Alex Kelly Social Skills, Solihull Approach, Core Vocabulary Intervention and in the Fundamentals of working with working with children and young people who have SEMH and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). Hannah loves working with a wide variety of clients, though is developing her specialty in working with young people with SEMH and SLCN.

Hannah completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Arabic at the University of Edinburgh and has working knowledge of both languages. She is keen runner and has completed two marathons (Edinburgh and Paris). Hannah also enjoys playing piano and guitar.

Hannah is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC).
