Gabby is a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at the London Children’s Practice.

Gabby has experience working with children and young people with Autism up to 19 year’s old, as well as experience working with complex needs aged up to 5 years old. Gabby has previously worked in a SEN ASD specific school, implementing communication strategies for non-verbal students using low & high-tech AAC devices.

From previous work, Gabby has been trained in and carried out interventions such as; Talking Mats, Intensive Interaction, PECS, zones of regulation/emotional regulation, colourful semantics & SCERTS. Gabby also has also completed an OCN course for social communication difficulties.

Gabby is also trained in Makaton level 2 and currently has a certificate in BSL at level 2 with the desire to continue to Level 6.

Outside of work Gabby likes to eat good food, travel and hang out with friends! Gabby is hoping to complete her studies to become a HCPC registered SLT in the future.
