
Christine Caño
Christine is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, Manager, Team Lead and Designated Safeguarding Officer at the London Children’s Practice. Christine also manages our Social Media platforms. Christine has a BSc in Human Communication, Postgraduate and Masters of Science Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, all from City University London. Christine has a special interest in Developmental Language Disorder and working with the adolescent population. Christine provides therapy and assessments in clinic and schools.
Christine has experience providing Assessment and Therapy in the UK and works with all age ranges with diverse Speech and Language needs such as: Developmental Language Disorder, Language Delay, Social Communication Difficulties, Autism, Speech Delay/ Disorder, Processing difficulties and Higher Order Language difficulties especially with Secondary School students.
Christine has additional training in SCERTS, Core Vocabulary, Solihull Approach, Lidcombe, Speech; Assessment and Therapy in Practice, Alex Kelly- Assessing and Teaching Social Skills and The Zones of Regulation. Christine has also attended a course on Communication Difficulties in Children with Cleft and other Complex Craniofacial Conditions at the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Christine is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Christine speaks Tagalog (Filipino).
In Christine’s free time, she enjoys singing, playing the violin and piano, socialising, fashion and beauty, taking photos and travelling.
