Caylee Dixon

Occupational Therapist

Caylee in an Occupational Therapist at The London Children’s Practice. She obtained her Bachelors in Occupational Therapy at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. This is a 4 year degree plus an extra year of community service in South Africa as an OT.

Caylee has experience working with children in hospital and clinic settings as well as mainstream and SEN schools. She has worked with children from a range of backgrounds, ages and diagnoses.

Caylee has a keen interest in sensory integration (including sensory based interventions), Autism Spectrum disorders, early intervention (including developmental delay) and school- related difficulties; focusing on handwriting, visual perceptual difficulties, fine motor skills and gross motor skills.

She has completed various formal trainings, including ‘DIR Floortime’ for ASD, ‘Learn, Play, thrive approach to Autism, and she has completed 4 out of the 6 modules for the Ayres Sensory Integration training through ASI-Wise London. Caylee has also led various specialized trainings in schools.

Caylee is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy, including the specialist section and she is also registered with the Health and Care Professions council.

Outside of work, Caylee enjoys traveling, reading, baking, playing sport and socializing with friends.
