Speech and Language Therapist
Zahrah is a Speech and Language Therapist at The London Children’s Practice. She obtained her Speech and Language Therapy degree at City, University of London. Currently, Zahrah works with primary and secondary school aged students. Zahrah has experience working with paediatric clients, from early years to secondary school students. Specifically, Zahrah has worked closely with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a range of settings including; primary schools, clinic and a Young Offender Institution. She has provided group therapy for social communication and language, as well as delivering parent-child interaction workshops. Zahrah has experience in providing school based assessments and EHCP reviews. She has experience in working with clients with social communication disorders, stammer, developmental language disorder and selective mutism. Zahrah has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and is working towards specialising in this area. Zahrah is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Zahrah also speaks Punjabi.
Outside of work, Zahrah enjoys travelling, hiking and bouldering.
